I personally boleive that diet is the main cause of acne. If you have acne in my opinion there is somthing going on in your body that must be adressed. It could be food sensitives, binges/ excess of any foods, intolerance, candida, allergies, and defficianies etc etc etc. Well you get the point. I never had candida or anything like that, but i did seem to be broken out whenever i ate too many grains. I was always told genetics play a big role in acne and i couldn'tthink that was less true. I have no acne in my family. They grew up in europe on a completely different diet then me that meaning barely any grains and mostly veg&meat. I eneded up with acne and couldn't explain in, but now i see. I also agree with your opinion on topicals. I think it can help, but never rely on them.
