Moisturize after using Proactiv

advertisement

I was browsing around Yahoo Answers tonight just looking for something to write about. Let's face it, I can't always think of something. That's when I ran into this great question asking whether or not a person should moisturize after using Proactiv.

Here's my response:
It's essential that you moisturize your face after using Proactiv Solution.

Consequences of not moisturizing include:

  • Dry Skin
  • Red Skin
  • Flaky Skin

Let's face it, none of us really like any of those common side effects.

How to:

After you've applied the final step of Proactiv give it about 10 minutes to soak in. Then, apply small amounts of moisturizer onto your face.

Conclusion:

I've heard other people say that moisturizer is too oily for your skin. This is definitely not true. Plus, if it were, why would Proactiv come out with a Green Tea Moisturizer made for the specific purpose of combating side effects caused by Proactiv?

I just came across your site today and i want to thank you for all the information I have read so far but I have a couple of questions that I hope you can answer:

1: you said ProActive has a green tea moisturizer that i can use...well with the kit they sent me i have an Oil Free Moisture SPF 15 Moisturizer...Is that okay to use?
2: In one your how to use video you said that you try to keep your face from getting wet in the shower...well what about when I wash my hair...its kind of hard to keep the water away from my face...or is this just a "try to keep your face from getting wet as much as possible kind of thing" (not sure if that question made sense...Lol)

1) I personally don't like the Oil Free Moisturizer. It would definitely be a great idea to give it a try, but if it doesn't work for you, don't be surprised. I would perosnally go with the Green Tea Moisturizer. It's amazing.

2) Just don't splash water on your face in your shower. If it gets wet, that's alright. However, there's no need to go crazy and wash it. lol

In your video you say that you put lubriderm on only in the morning. My question is why don't you put the green tea moisturizer instead? Because I'm considering on getting it but my paranoia is trying to stop me...
