I was reading an interesting article on the internet yesterday and it actually stated that Benzoyl Peroxide can actually make you more prone to skin cancer. If you didn't already know, Benzoyl Peroxide is an active ingredient in many popular acne products on the market.

Benzoyl Peroxide linked to cancer tumors
I continued doing more and more research around the net. Most of the articles are the same. I read this article titled, Can Proactiv cause Cancer and it basically discussed how Benzoyl peroxide was a "tumor promoter" and also a "tumor progression agent" in a number of animal studies.This is pretty messed up. I want to keep my skin clear, but is this seriously worth it? It may be time to look for more natural methods.

I think that Benzoyl Peroxide may make your skin more prone to skin cancer..... but that's why proactiv created OIL FREE MOISTURE With SPF 15. You have to use sunscreen before going outside!=]
